Rayalight was created by my wife, who’s spent many years making soy candles as a hobby, even before using soy was popular. After a lot of testing and experimenting with various types of soy and diverse fragrances-including different types of tins and jars, she successfully created a line of fragranced soy candles that reflected true quality, craftsmanship and consistency.
As she produced more of these candles; she began to share them with her friends and family with positive feedback. Naturally, as word began to spread, she realized she had an opportunity to let others know about the benefits of burning handmade soy based candles. The only conceivable way to expand her influence then was to turn this hobby into a business. After a lot of thought she decided to call her business “Rayalight”.
